CODE OF CONDUCT
1. NETWORK ACCESS FEE – It is prohibited to drive outside station hours. A daily ticket or subscription is required to access the MTB Belle Neige network. These are available through customer service or online.
2. BE READY – Make sure your bike and equipment are in good condition. Consult the weather forecast, it has a direct impact on the condition of the network, prepare yourself accordingly.
3. BE SAFE – Helmet use is mandatory at all times. In addition, we strongly recommend wearing different protective equipment: gloves, knees, elbows and chin strap.
4. BE VIGILANT – Whether it is to protect the environment or to avoid injury, it is forbidden to drive off-piste or on a closed trail. Follow all signs and warnings. For your safety and the safety of others, drive slowly when trails are busy. If you need to stop, be sure to be visible and not obstruct the way.
5. BE COURTEOUS – Slow down when approaching other cyclists and politely announce your approach. Give way to faster and more experienced cyclists. When descending a two-way trail, the ascending cyclist has priority over the descending cyclist. Be prepared for any eventuality and stop when needed.
6. BE IN CONTROL – Drive slowly when trails are busy so as not to endanger the safety of other users and your own. Maintain control of your speed and direction. Make sure you are able to stop and avoid any person or obstacle. Keep your distance from other users at all times.
7. BE RESPECTFUL – To avoid damage to the surface, drive in a manner that will not damage the trail. Avoid unnecessary skids and wheel blocks. Do not throw anything into the forest or frighten animals.
8. DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON BIKE TRAILS.
9. SHOTGUN BOOSTER SEATS AND GIRAFFES ARE PROHIBITED.
